ABOUT ME

I'm an artist, musician and computer nerd, mostly those things but also a mutltitude more. What I do and how I do it matter more for me than the titles I give myself. I think music and visuals are two sides of the same coin, parts of a larger creative world where they work together in telling stories, conveying feelings and communicating ideas. I'm formally trained in visual arts but that experience mostly killed my creativity and spontaneity for a couple years. Getting into design brought it back to life and ever since I'm riding the line between design, illustration and art.

I love computers, I love the internet, I love what it has the potential to be if it was free from corporate control. I wish we would stop making newer, more disposable and unnecessarily overpowered computer when we already have a wealth of older perfectly capable machines rendered obsolete by the software we're being sold. I consider myself a hacker because I like to know how the tools I own work and I will open them, reverse-engineer, fix and modify them as i want.

I've been making music with computer since I was young, my first DAW was Windows Recorder running on Windows Me and I did some pretty experimental shit with it. From there i got into both noise and EDM music, combining and oscillating between them as I see fit. I like music that make people dance and that brings people together. I like music that provoke a sense of euphoria, of ecstasy even, and that inspire people to action.

I'm currently putting together a first EP, working on album visual commissions and producing and playing in Voidxwitch.

ABOUT THIS WEBSITE

This is one of my personal websites, it's hand-coded with simple html and css and is constantly changing and growing. It's a portfolio of my work but also where I keep some personal notes, a log, a place to document some projects and just play with the medium of the web in a creative way.

The font used on this website is the great Joan G. Stark-inspired jgs font designed by Adel Faure.

There's no tracking on this website, no javascript framework or heavy animations to load, just the appropriate technology.
