I've been wanting to experiment with analog video glitching for a while and when working on a music video for Voidxwitch I used the opportunity to put a piece of gear together that would allow me to mess around with a VGA video signal.
The glitcher is based of a design by Lofi future it has one input, 2 outputs, a patchbay that is wired directly to the pins of the EM636165TS chip, allowing to circuit bend the circuit in real time with patch cables. There is also 3 knobs that control the amount of red, green, and blue that can pass through, effectively colorizing the image.
I've used it so far in the Beast of the Black Hill (Aliceffekt remix) music video and I would love to glitch some live projections with it one day.
